The Kiwanis Club of West Palm Beach Foundation, Inc. offers one of the largest scholarship programs in Florida awarding over $250,000 each year. The Foundation has provided almost $7 million in scholarships since 1970. Most scholarships are renewable for four years of college provided the student reapplies each year and maintains minimum requirements. The total value of the grant, if renewed, is between $10,000 to $16,000 over 4 years.
Scholarship Application System for this school year (2023-24) is closed. You may browse, download, and/or print the 2023 application to see an example of what information should be needed for the 2024 Scholarship Application which will be ready shortly after the new year.
The Foundation is committed to academic excellence. The goal is to help students who carry at least a 3.0 grade point average, have demonstrated good citizenship and community responsibility, and have financial need. Awards vary in size depending on the cost of the school and the student’s financial need, but generally range from $2,500 to $4,000 annually. All grants are made without discrimination as to age, race, color, religion, gender, national origin or disability. To be eligible, students must plan to attend college full-time. High school students must currently live and attend a high school in a designated geographic area of the county. See the application for more details.
